I’m so happy you reached out to me, Amimbia. I was debating about creating an Instagram account just to reach /you/. A reader sent me over a link to the first book cover for Immune, and I got so giddy! I gushed about it on my Tumblr and said:
That is absolutely beautiful! I love their interpretation of Ezra—he’s gorgeous, masculine, and evidently noble. I absolutely love Agni/Josiah in the background with his sherwani, the snake, and the subtle but noticeable jewelry 😍 The colors they decided to use on the cover are also clever (blue, orange, and purple—very fitting!). I’m in love with the symbolism of Agni placing the crown on Ezra’s head. That pretty much encompasses the entire crux of Triloka.
I hadn’t realized there were others for Inferior and Imminent! They are just as beautiful as the first. Love, love Agni’s spirit animal with the smoldering belly (that’s exactly how I pictured it!) and there is Varuna in the back—perfectly placed. Ezra looks almost angelic in this one, and I love it. The ice background is so fitting. And don’t get me started on Imminent. The hands in the fog, the distant raven, and Ember! The detail you put into her outfit, her blackened fingers, and the jewelry is… *chef’s kiss*.
