[MilkandMoon]: Hello! I finished rereading the series in prep for book 4 yesterday, and I have a lot of thoughts! I rarely reread anything but I’m so glad I did as these books are so special, so complex, and there are so many easter eggs to find on a re-read. I wanted to share some things I’m most excited for in book 4, so that you may laugh at my terrible deduction skills.
1. The wolf. Who is the wolf?? My guess is maybe it’s Ezra’s mummy? Who I thiiiiink is this mysterious Lady Parvati? Who maaaybe has some kind of romantic history with Varuna. The family drama is next level
2. Throughout the series there’s many mentions of this kind of soul-bond between Agni and Ezra, like they’re definitely sharing emotions and connected in some deeper way, my guess is … soul-mates?? So pumped for this reveal
3. Agni’s connection to Ezra’s dad. There are hints the dad is maybe some kind of mentor, as he taught Agni archery right? Which is lovely symmetry with Ezra and Agni, maybe the dad is even Agni’s uncle that inspired the Azeri culture? And I’m guessing maybe Agni accidentally killed him during that ancient battle. I will sell a kidney for this info, please and thank you
So hyped for book 4 right now, hope that you are doing well author, no pressure, it will be ready when it is ready, be kind to yourself, you’re doing amazing work, we’re here for you 🖤
Thank you so much for reaching out, MilkandMoon 🤍
I always love hearing reader speculations and the (sometimes very subtle) hints they pick up throughout the series 😊 I am definitely not laughing at your deduction skills; I have to commend you on drawing some clever theories. While I cannot confirm or deny your speculations just yet, I will say you’re on the right track for one…or more.
All three of your points will be major recurring themes in Part IV. The connection between Agni and Ezra has been quietly prevalent since Part I and has steadily strengthened throughout the series, so we will finally be learning the reasoning behind it in the next release. Book 4 will also focus heavily on Ezra’s godly parentage and Svarga’s reaction to the revelation. So when you say the family drama is on the next level, you cannot be more right. We’ll be diving into some tangled webs…because Ezra certainly didn’t get enough family drama in the mortal realm, did he? That was merely preparation for what he’s about to undergo in Svarga.
Thanks again for the message and the kind words! I am so glad to hear you’re looking forward to the next release!
