[Reader Ask:] In book one when Agni brings Yamuna to heal Ezra after the dulcis waters incident yamuna says he will possess enough beauty to bring ppl to their knees and power…. and Agni reply’s that he has foreseen it, what does that mean? I never understood his response, does Agni have gift of foresight, also I noticed that when Ezra was viewing Agni’s memories in book three, one of the things he saw was a pregnant Ember and even himself as a child, considering that Agni had just woken up from a century long slumber at that point and I’m assuming he and Yamuna planned the whole thing- implanting yamas essence in micah- together does that mean he saw the future. im just confused cause apart from those two instances there’s no other mention of Agni possessing such gifts.

Short answer: No, Agni does not have the gift of foresight.
While some entities and/or sentient beings in Svarga possess the gift of foresight, Agni is not one of them. In your first example, Agni is wearily agreeing with Yamuna. He is resigned to his own fate. It’s similar to people telling a parent that their young, too-smart-for-their-own-good child will give them trouble when they get older. The parent doesn’t foresee it in the literal sense, but they can fully agree to that statement based on their child’s current behavior. Agni is in the same boat, acknowledging Ezra’s future influence based on his (Agni’s) changing views of Ezra. At this point in time, Ezra has begun to mean more to him than just a simple weapon.
Your second example is something else entirely. Any visions of the future were not Agni’s doing. Though that’s all I will say at this point 😊
