Readers Ask: Hi lovely author.
When would we be getting the blurb of book four?
Also I’m wondering if prithvi is reborn, who would raise her since she would be a fledgeling. During the scene of Agni and Indra’s confrontation at the palace Indra says that if Agni were to die his replacement would belong to the Adityas and Agni gets angry, what is Indra implying. I thought replacement deities tend to go back to their original parents so why wouldn’t it be the same for Agni
Hello, lovely reader!
An official blurb/summary will most likely be shared closer to the release date (July 11th, for those of you who may have missed the previous post). But I will share a few tidbits: We’ll be seeing more Svarga, much more Naraka, and Ezra will assume many more duties. The Reaper essence and its effects will be explored, and we’ll finally unearth the mystery surrounding the origins of Ezra’s creation (which leads to even more revelations). Agni and Ezra are entering a new phase of their relationship. It’s not quite the honeymoon phase (I don’t think they’ll ever get a honeymoon phase—they’re far too aware of each other’s shortcomings), but they’ll be facing new trials together. Agni will also be exploring the unfamiliar territory that comes with not knowing all the answers. We’ll be meeting our new antagonist/villain(s), and Ezra will be facing obstacles that his mortal upbringing has prepared him for.
As for your question regarding replacement deities:
Prithvi will be briefly touched on in Part IV, but you are correct that fledglings manifest before their parents or someone they can trust. Most of Agni’s anger in that scene with Indra isn’t necessarily about who would raise his replacement but stems from his fear of being replaced in general. It ties into the scene in Chapter 35, Earth Shattering Grief, when Agni confesses and explains this fear in more detail to Ezra.
Thanks for reaching out!
